Despite the scorching temperatures in Toronto today, I couldn’t stop myself from making this blueberry crumble! I LOVE this time of year. Toronto has always been full of Halloween cheer and I’m so grateful to experience Halloween in this city. Seeing all the little kids run through the leaves, up to the houses to collect candy, all excited…it’s just the best.

There’s something about this time of year that always re-energizes my love of recipe creation. I think it’s the cooler weather that makes us stay indoors longer and the fact that my body craves for grounding, warming foods.
