Gone are the days of Head and Shoulders for me. Back when I had pretty bad dandruff in high school and university, like most other people with dandruff, I used Head and Shoulders and other dandruff shampoos to get rid of my flaky scalp issue. 2nd Trimester Favourites
What a ride it has been! They say every pregnancy is different and as I’m writing I’m currently in my third trimester looking back at all three trimesters realizing that each trimester feels like a different pregnancy. The human body is so fascinating and each day I’m so surprised to see and feel all of the changes that come with pregnancy.
7 Ways to Kick Start 2019
Happy 2019!
We are well into the year and you may or may not be working on some resolutions. If you are, good for you! I hope they are realistic and promote your health and wellness. If you haven’t come up with any self-improvement goals, not to worry. It’s completely NOT necessary. Seriously. If you are content with how things are going for you and you foresee a gradual incline of personal and professional growth on the horizon–congrats. If not in these specific circumstances, have you ever had a time in you life where everything seemed to be going well and then all of a sudden you get side swiped and your sense of normalcy is almost non-existent?
5 Ways to Get Through Cold Weather and Enjoy it!

Thankfully, there has been a good amount of sunshine this past winter which can definitely have a positive affect on your mood! Even though I’m a winter baby (my birthday is January 25!) and I love some cozy nights in with a good snowfall, like everyone else I start to feel at this point of the year that it’s time for a change. Whether that means a change in season, giving yourself new challenges (how are those New Year’s Resolutions? wink wink, nudge nudge), or going on a trip to a sunny destination, it’s important that you check in with yourself. What does that mean? Well, a variety of things, actually.
Meditation/Medication
Some weeks ago, I had a funny encounter in a store on the Danforth. I had a great day up to that point; the weather was lovely, I walked all around the Danforth, took in a lot of sunshine and felt energized. After doing my walk about the store, I went to get in line and noticed there was a man in front of me who had stepped outside of the line-up to look at something. No longer lined up, I walked past him to the line-up.
