Who doesn’t love turmeric lattes? I definitely love them, especially when the ingredients are bang-on! When I received my Prairie Naturals fermented turmeric from Vista Magazine I knew I could make a typical turmeric latte with it, but I wanted to switch things up! SO, I made a bite sized turmeric latte! These fermented turmeric energy balls are my new favourite thing.⁣⁣ These are the perfect afternoon treat because they contain healthy fats, and offer sweetness without the crash! ⁣⁣ Turmeric is an excellent source of antioxidants and is particularly well-known for helping inflammation. The active ingredient, curcumin, can be found in a lot of pain relief and joint supplements because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Adding raw honey makes these balls equipped with raw enzymes, vitamins, minerals and adding black pepper makes the turmeric more absorbable.⁣ The fermented aspect is just the cherry on top! #guthealth⁣ ⁣⁣

I can’t wait for you to try these! ⁣⁣ ⁣

Turmeric Honey Energy Balls:⁣

1 1/4 cup cashews⁣

1/4 dates⁣

1 tsp Prairie Naturals fermented turmeric⁣

1/4 tsp black pepper⁣

1 tsp raw honey⁣

2 tbsp coconut manna⁣

1/2 tsp cinnamon ⁣ ⁣

optional: shredded coconut

1. Blend in your food processor or high-powered blender (I used my Vitamix)⁣ until combined. ⁣

2. Roll into small balls⁣. Optional: roll in shredded coconut⁣– it’s soooooo good!

3. Store in the fridge.
